Dogs love to chew. They will chew on anything when they are puppies, if they suffer from separation anxiety or just have a strong chewing instinct. Providing the right thing to chew on can save you a lot of grief. Variety is also key to keeping your dog from getting bored and chewing on your shoes!
Nothing wakes a dog up faster than food or treats!
- Wash and dry the sweet potatoes.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- My husband is assisting me today. He is slicing the sweet potatoes 1/4 inch thick.
4. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
5. Next, place your sweet potato slices on your prepared baking sheet.
6. Bake 3 hours. After 1-1/2 hours, turn the slices over and continue baking.
Turn the slices over half way through baking.
Allow the slices to cool in the oven. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator or you can freeze them.
