I was watching an old episode of Martha Stewart’s show Martha Cooks. In the episode, she made this side dish. Huh! I never would have thought to make radishes that way. I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised.
Let’s go! Grab your ingredients
- 1 bunch of radishes with the green tops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- Salt
Instructions

- First cut the leaves off the roots of the radish.
- Next wash the leaves and radishes well, drain in a colander.
- Then chop the radish leaves.
- Now slice the radishes.

5. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Then add the onion and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Now add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir as it cooks.

6 Finally. add the chopped radish leaves and sliced radishes. Stir until leaves are wilted.

7. Keep stirring often. Cook until the greens and radishes are tender, about 5-8 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
