An easy filling breakfast
Banana Strawberry Oats
Start with 1 cup of quick oats.
Add 1 cup milk of your choice.
Mix the oats and milk together. Then add a cut up banana. Add 1/4 cup dried strawberries.
Mix the fruit into the oats. The great thing about dried strawberries is, they rehydrate but don’t get mushy!
You can add honey or pure maple syrup for sweetness.
Divide and put into two covered containers. Allow to sit overnight in the fridge.
Variations/Serving suggestions
You can eat your overnight oats cold or heat them up in the microwave.
I like to change up the ingredients. Sometimes I do a banana and peanut butter. Yogurt tastes good in the oats. Blueberries, peaches, raisins, chunks of cut up apples are all good and healthy options.
