Clean out the inside of the container you are going to decorate.

Pick out decorative paper, ribbon and any other embellishments you might want to add.

Measure and cut the paper that you want to wrap around. Overlap the paper a little bit where the edges meet.

Put glue on the back side of the paper.

Carefully wrap the paper around the container. Make sure it is smooth and straight.

You might need to trim the edges.

I like to use rubber bands to secure the paper until the glue dries.

For the oatmeal canister lid, remove the label and trace it on the decorative paper. Add a little glue to the back of the paper, then slip in place.
