An easy recipe that is delicious!
Gather ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 15 ounce can of pumpkin
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 box butter recipe cake mix
- 1 can cream cheese frosting

Notes: Use real pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a jelly roll pan or a 9×13 inch pan for thicker bars.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin. Beat 1 minute on high.



Add cake mix and spices. Blend until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on high.

Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.

Finishing touches and storage

Cool completely, then frost with cream cheese frosting. For an added touch, you can sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the frosting. Store in the refrigerator. Also freezes well.
